I Dare You....
Why are we still afraid? Why do we still panic? Why are we so overcome with doubts?
Are we not the ones that the Bible says are hidden in the bundle of the living in the hand of God?
1 SAMUEL 25:29
If men rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living in the care of the Lord your God. And the lives of your enemies he shall sling out as from the hollow of a sling.
So it is either we do not understand what this scripture means or we do not believe that God is always able and willing to keep what is in his care safe and secure or you know your current location is far from in God. Which ever applies, we are the ones 'doing' ourselves. God is not to blame at all.
Who dares to go touch that which is in the hands of the Lord God Almighty? I dare them to show themselves, these enemies of your life! Yes, for those living to please God, those committed Christians, let their enemies try and see what shall befall them. They will understand that, to be flung out of a sling by God Almighty, is a fearful matter.
But this post is not to our enemies. It is to you. To us who say God is our father. Enough of our pity parties already. And the best way to ruin this kind of party is to remember who you are and ‘whose’ you are. Here, listen to this. It will help. If you believe what you hear and speak it out loud over your life.
I dare you to do that - listen, speak out loud in faith - and remain in your pity party.
