Keep Calm and Build An Altar.

Over the past couple of weeks, a Gratitude Challenge took over Facebook. I loved it because it got people to really think about all God had done for them. Yes, we all consciously counted our blessings for 7 days. Each day, you had to state 3 things you were thankful for. On the first day you had to nominate at least three other people to do the challenge. That's how the 'thankful' bug spread. So much better than Ebola don't you think? I imagined all the battles being won in the heavenlies by it all. Yes, you do know that via our thanksgiving and praise vengeance is exacted on our enemies? I suggest we keep the altars of thanksgiving ever warm by collating all our 7 days worth of gratitude into one sheet and sticking it up somewhere we can see everyday.  Or better still why not start a gratitude journal! Yes, methinks it's a good idea. Let's all 'build altars, memorials of thanksgiving ' to our God and King. No doubt, He has been Good. Plus, when the devil comes taunting we can tell 'it' to 'gerrout' because right there in/on our 'altars' is proof that we serve a very big God and He is always by and on our side!

"Then come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar  to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and who has been with me wherever I have gone.”
Genesis 35:3
