Wetin You Carry?
You and I and many others are going through a lot in this season. Even if it's just the whole Ebola/Chibok Girls/BH saga alone it is plenty. No doubt, many emotions, feelings, thoughts and fears.
In the past week, I have felt God say to me over and over that the only thing that would make a difference in how each of us goes through these times, handles these times, overcomes these times is how much of Him we each have living in us.
And today, towards the end of the message, the Pastor more or less underscored the above when he asked us all this question: Wetin You Carry?
You see, many of us are not just struggling to overcome our fears, we also struggle to live the crucified life. It ought not to be so if we are 'full of God'. As you know, you and I are spirits with souls and we live in 'containers' called bodies. To live victoriously, fearlessly and righteously we must daily empty ourselves and daily ask God to breathe on us filling us with Himself and His nature. His DNA must totally override the DNA we inherited from Adam. Once this happens we will cease to struggle because God himself will lovingly 'constrain' us to live pleasing to Him. See, it's right there in His Word:
