The Perfect Father's Day Prayer

And this is THE Perfect quote!
All I can say is 'Gbam!"
I am quite sure I have read this part of the Bible before and many times too for that matter. But it is only today that God opened my spiritual eyes to 'see' something that had always been there. I am talking about Genesis 18: 17-19, where God was talking about his plans for Abraham and how he would make him a great nation. Not a great man. A great and powerful NATION. What an awesome promise! Being Father's day, it was just the best time to read these verses again and to now fully understand the implications of this promise for my mgm, my own 'friend of God' , the daddy of my children.

Because I know this promise from God is available to every daddy (potential ones too!) out there, below is the prayer I have made out of the verses and now ask you to please pray it for all the daddies in your life one by one. Just fill in the blanks. In my humble opinion it is simply the best Father's Day Prayer ever!

Dear PapaGod, please do not hide from (blank) all that you are set to do in his life as from today. (blank) shall surely become not just a great man but a great and powerful NATION and all other men and nations on earth will be blessed through (blank). Lord, choose (blank) so that he will continue to direct his children and his household to keep your ways and do what is right so that you will bring about for (blank) ALL that you have promised him.

So it is and so shall it be in Jesus name. Amen!

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddies out there!

Big Amen for the wonderful daddy of my kid(s) too!! I thank God for giving him to me as i sometimes look at my imperfections, sometimes, my impatience and the likes and in HIS graciousness, gave me a more tolerant man who has made marriage worth it. These are the things i look at and i have the GOD-fidence that GOD still loves ME.

Been MIA for a while now, and aside from the busy life, believe me, i am learning to flip it and iv found joy in knowing that everyday comes with a fresh grace and brighter hope for tomorrow.
    Thanx once again.
