The Raziela Foundation & I Thank You
I am very excited to let you know that as at close of business today a total of N77,000.00 had rolled into the Raziela Foundation coffers!!!!!
I am sending huge e-hugs to all the wonderful people who wanted to do more than just wish me a 'happy birthday' on the 26th. I assure you that I treasure all the good wishes I got and all the prayers BUT I have to confess that this year, the people who made me truly happy were those who gave N2,000.00 (and in some cases, more) towards bettering the life of a child.
To all these people, the Raziela Foundation, Pastor Bemigho Omayuku and I say: Thank you. We can only thank you. Our God will reward you. We shall forever be indebted to you for choosing to do what you did. You made me happy and best of all, you will
make a life better. completely change the course of a child's life. As promised, I shall match the funds raised so that means we have N154,000.00 and I am still hoping that some outstanding 'pledges' come in to give us a round figure of N180,000.00 as that is how much it costs to take care of all the educational needs of one disadvantaged child in Ondo State (tuition, books, uniforms, school bags, lunch, after school tutoring and in some cases medical attention) for a whole year.
We shall see how it goes but one thing I know for sure is that I will never forget my 45th birthday. If you gave, you know yourself. I thank you for being a part of this milestone birthday in such a special, tangible way. I love you but God loves you more. Way more.
And to him alone be all the glory!
