|Step! & Fulfill Your Destiny|

You don't have to be able to see the top of the stairs to make it up there. Just look forward, bend your knee, raise your foot and put it down on the first step. There you see! You are one step closer to the top already! Well done you! (A newly concoted Salt quote* smiling smugly*)
Sometimes, what you are called to accomplish in life is like a long, daunting flight of stairs. You don't see how you can make it to the top. You have no clue how or what it even looks like up there. But what I believe is that when God sends you up a flight of stairs, you don't always have to be able to see the last step at the top. All God requires is that you trust him enough to take the first step. And then the next step. With each step you take, in faith, he will surely provide the grace you need to reach the top!
I was having an email conversation with my dear Pastor B yesterday and it is that converation that inspired this post. I shared with her how the best way for me to understand this truth above is remembering Michael Jackson's 'Billie Jean' video. Remember it? There is this part when Michael is stepping across the pavement and with each step he took, the pavement was illuminated from underneath. For the light to come, he had to step forward. No step. No light. That is how I see God's grace, favour and enablement for us sometimes. You won't get it before you step out. You get it WHEN you step out.
So I hope that someone out there will read this and quit 'waiting' for God to launch him/her into your next level. Listen very carefully, I shall say this only once *whispering*: God has already moved for you. Everything you need for your journey is already available. To get it, all you need to do is Step!
Our taking that first step up that flight of stairs is a demonstration of our complete trust in a God who sees the end from the beginning. Yes, we might not be able to see the top of the stairs but God can. And if he is sending us up there, it's cause he knows we can make it!
So, dear one, get to stepping!
