Quit Wasting Your Displeasure.

This is going to be a very KISS blog. Very short and simple. It needs no long grammar. It was actually inspired by another blog I read yesterday that really spoke to me. It reminded me that because God lives in me, I have the authority to convert my displeasure/discontent/dissatisfaction about any situation in my life into 'fuel' that will unleash faith-filled words into my world and bring  about my change!

Instead of siting there worrying about the situation, wasting my energy being anxious or unhappy about it I should channel that energy into words and 'speak' my change into being. Yes, my displeasure, my discontent does not have to be a bad thing. I can make use of it. I don't have to waste it. I will not camp by it having a pity party. I will not wring my hands and wrinkle my forehead anymore. As a child of God, Jesus Christ has promised me that whatever I speak , I can have if only I will speak in faith. You know what, this blog is getting longer than I wanted it. Just click and read Tolulope's Musings. I think he gets the message across better.

I shall just leave you with this thought. In the beginning, when God looked at the  world, dark, formless and void. Did he just wring his hands saying 'Oh my, *sob, sob*, the world is such a  dark, formless place! What shall we do? *sob, sob* Jesus, Holy Spirit, how shall we solve this problem?

Of course not!

You and I both know what he did. He spoke! He decreed! He said 'Let there be light!' Gbam and there was light! God was displeased with the situation I believe. He was not happy with it. Perhaps it caused him much sadness and displeasure. One thing we do know is that he did not like it. Just like we do not like certain things in our lives right now.  But God did not waste his displeasure crying over it and getting depressed over it. No! He channelled his displeasure into words and spoke!  And change came! Glory to God! I know we can have the same in our lives!

If only we would quit wasting our displeasure and start speaking our change into being! God did it, Ezekiel did it, Joshua did it, Elijah and Elisha did and Jesus did it over and over and in his name, I shall do it too! And so shall you.

What is it that is causing you grief in your life right now? What is not in line with God's word for you? Are you displeased about it? Fine. That's not a bad thing. Use your displeasure. Don't waste it. Let it get you to voice out your change! Go now and look in his word for his promises about that situation and use those words to create your change. You have got the power. Use it today!

 Are you with me?

    1. Today I read in my Bible that God is the strength of my salvation. It jolted me. Positively. EVEN our salvation depends, relies, draws strength from God. I ddon't know how to explain it but I just thought that if God is the one validating my salvation so to speak, then I am good. I will win this cos God never fails. God is the strength of our focus Funmi. We will not fail.
